Amy Kim is a student currently attending DigiPen pursuing her Bachelors of Fine Art in Digital Art and Animation. Despite starting her academic career in medicine, she took a large step in deciding to pursue her dreams in the art world. After many years of self-motivated study, Amy was admitted into DigiPen BFA program in 2018.

Amy has always loved the stories that films and video games convey. She fell in love with media that comes from a narrative driven background. As an individual that values friendships and community, her passion comes from the drive to create meaningful stories that connect people together.

As a recipient of the McMillen Foundation Scholarship Amy is proud to be a member of a foundation that supports artists from an education standpoint. She is forever thankful that the McMillen Artist Community has enabled her to further pursue her creative passion.
